Charlotte Aslin - Soprano
Born in North Yorkshire, Charlotte started singing at the age of 10 with Zuilmah Hopkins in Great Ayton. She studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Theresa Goble. Charlotte has also sung as soloist with numerous choirs and her extensive concert and recital repertoire varies from Handel to Lloyd Webber.Since leaving college, Charlotte has had tuition from Margaret MacDonald, John Huw Davies (Masterclass), Jeff Lawton (Royal Northern College of Music) and Llyndal Trotman. Her current teacher is Lynne Dawson. Charlotte also performs with her sister, Anita (Harpist), at various engagements and as a duo (Singing Strings) they have entertained many audiences where guests have included; the late Willie Maddren and The Right Honourable William Hague.
