Derek Telfer formed The Persuaders in April 2000 to recreate the sound, look and feel of a sixties pop band.

We try not to use ‘high tech’ music equipment so that we can create that authentic raw sixties sound just as it was back in the day.

The line-up is: Derek on bass and lead vocals, Adam on lead/rhythm guitar and vocals, Daran on lead/rhythm guitar and backing vocals and Les on drums.

If you hire us you’re getting a totally self-contained band of smartly dressed musicians. All our electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested and the band is fully insured for public liability (certificate on request)

We provide music between sets but equally can work alongside a disco if required.
